Any ramifications with removing the word NULL from excel , saving as csv, then loading to a mysql database

I have a csv file which contains NULL values in fields that are not populated. The CSV file is fed into a mysql database. The user would like to remove all null values on the sheet with blanks - nothing in the cell. I am not sure why. The file when then be uploaded into the mysql database. Will this have an impact? Maybe they want them removed because they see them on a report from the data upload. Just want to make sure this wont affect anything

Sounds good to me.  I don't see any advantage of keeping the nulls on import.  Does mysql remove them on import?

I dont think mysql removes them on import. I am new to using mysql. Once imported my understanding is the end user sees them populated on their screen. That is why they wanted them removed. I am not the dba just running reports for now and importing files. I do know the importance of data integrity and wanted to make sure my removing would not cause any hicups.
Thanks for your help!
Thanks, Patricia.
