Recommendation on File Versioning Application for Windows Server
Hello Experts,
I've been asked by management to find a versioning application that can be used on Windows Server OS and would allow us to revert back to any previous version of a given file, document changes to the file and who made them, and ideally would also have a check in \ check out feature. I've done some research, but haven't found any specific, glowing recommendations. Do any of you have thoughts on the existence of such a tool \ application, and if so, what are your impressions?
Thanks in advance,
Russ

Hello everyone,
Thank you again very much for your help and input. I've discussed options with management, and we've decided to put this on the shelf for now.

The other option is an enterprise content management, where each user has to check out the file they want to edit and then check it back.
Subversion, this is commonly for coders.
