Accessing remotely PC Win 7
I have again the same problem as here:
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/29094673/USB-keyboard-and-mouse-frozen.html
I have ordered a PS/2 keyboard which will arrive next week. Until then I wanted to try the same solution and it does not work, because our server was upgraded and my username on the working pc is changed.
One PC, from which I write now, is on a domain, the other with problems is not, but is on the same network and I know its IP. I also know the username and password for login from that blocked computer, where I cannot login.
Before I was able to access remotely the problem computer because the username and password was the same on both PCs.
Now I have a different username on the PC that works and even if there is a share folder on the problem PC, I cannot access it.
It seems that works only when I have the same username.
My question: what can I do to access remotely the problem PC, how can I login remotely knowing its IP and login credentials when I have now different username on my working PC?

Did you add the user you use to log in remotely to the Remote Desktop User group on the remote computer?
ASKER
@ Hello There :
No or I do not know.. The Remote Desktop is not enabled on the remote computer. I am not aware of any way or time when the login user was added to Remote Desktop User group.
I can only try things that you suggest, no idea what is set inside the PC.
@ste5an
I boot the PC, the keyboard and mouse work fine during the boot time, when I can choose how to boot or even if I go in BIOS, but when Win7 arrives to the screen where I see the login icon, then I am stuck, the moise and keyboard do not not wrok any more, are frozen.
That's all. I cannot login.
If I would be able to clikc on use login and input the password, then I would go insied the Windows and delete eth existing drivers from Control Panel and then hopefully after reset the keyboard amd mouse will work again locally.
The only thing that crossed to my mind over the weekend was to take the home notebook, create a new user with similar name and password, connect to the same network/switch, not on domain, and then trying to access the existing shared folder on the remote pC with problems. And i i arrive there, then I know how to do the rest with stealth and remote VNC as in the lin above.
If does not work, then I have to wait 1-2 days and I will get the PS/2 keyboard and hopefully will work out with that.
Other suggestions?

Are you able to get into the Safe Mode? The mouse and the keyboard might work there.
Open the on-screen keyboard, then start your RDP session..

@Hello There
No. Safe Mode has been tested and no success.
@ste5an
How can I open the on-screen keyboard when I am stuck at login screen? - the mouse and keyboard are frozen.

Read my post again ;)
1. Open the on-screen keyboard [..]
2. [..], then start your RDP session..
I meant the ÒSK on the machine (local host) where you open your RDP session (to the remote client).

I really do not understand.
I have no problem on local host with the keyboard. Why should I use locally the on-screen keyboard?
The problem with keyboard is on the remote computer.
And the RDP is not enabled on remote computer.
Maybe you can enter in more details, so I can understand what you propose and how would that help me.

Well, cause its a try, cause I don't think that the OSK uses the same USB drivers, thus this may skip their initialization.
For the boot options:
Try to start into Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
Run diagnostics and do necessary repairs.
Then try to start it normally.

I did that days ago, before asking here and no scucces.
@Hello There
I do not know why, but I cannot get all options form your screen.

hmm, sounds like you need to access that machine physically..

During that boot screen time, I can use my USB keyboard and mouse.
I have done next thing:
- Using the home laptop I created a user with the same credentials as in the problem PC and now I can have access to a folder (pevious shared folder) in the problem PC.
How can I install VNC server on that folder and having started up silent? Maybe that will help me to use the remote keyboard and mouse.

I have access to the machine, it is near me, but I cannot login, the keyboard and mouse are frozen due to a driver failure.

You need a live DVD/USB system, based on Windows PE.
You may look at those, but I've always built may own.

I have no problem making a live USB booting stick. I have made some in the past.
But how can I repair the keyboard driver outside of the Win7 by using one of those live systems?
Or do you mean booting from live USB system in order to have access to the local C: and place there the VNC?

You can edit the registry from such a live stick, so you can change driver issues,

That sounds logic, but I have no idea how to do it.
Can you provide the steps?

Today was the lucky day.
The PS2 keyboard arrived and I was able to login into Windows.
I have deleted the existing drivers for USB hub and keyboard, mouse, ran sfc /scannnow which did not find any error and after reset I got back the USB keyboard and mouse control.
The problem is solved.

Thank you both for your suggestions.
The only thing which I comes to mind: How do you the actual RDP login?
When you were using stored credentials, then delete them using cmdkey or the credentials manager before trying to log into RDP on that machine.
btw, what exact errors do you get?
