Saving an excel file directly into my google drive folder
I have a database that generates an excel file. I have to copy to my desktop then upload to my google drive shared folder. Is there a way to upload the file right to my google drive shared folder. I dont see an option save to google drive or something simialar

There was a tool called Google Drive plug-in for Microsoft Office. Not sure if it still exists.
Is the Google account you're using part of G Suite? You can ask your admin if Drive File Stream can be installed so you can have certain folders backed up to your Google Drive.

No admin small company. I have on my drive - gmail, docs, excel, etc... dont see the drive file stream. Where would I find it if I have it? Thanks
Now it might be possible with G-Suit and Drive File Stream.
