LockDown32 asked
Last Modified: 2020-03-24
I have a customer that is going to 300Mbps internet soon. Needs a router that will keep up with it. Don't need wireless, VPN. Content Filtering or any bells and whistles. Just a good, solid internet router.

When a connection is purchased a modem is supplied by the provider which will keep up connection speed.

As for internal routers. Any Ethernet or 802.11ac (1G+ speed) or 802.11s mesh system will easily handle 300Mbps.

Correct on all counts with a minor exception. The ISP is providing a Ethernet cable :) They need to provide the router. Looking for a recommendation down to the manufacturer and model#
