Please provide more detail, which netapp do you have?
Do you have fibre channel infrastructure or iscsi?
The SAN is the sata repository,

Netapp sales and marketing or their tech documents may answer your question.

It is unclear what you are asking.
It is unclear what actual information you are after. The manner in which onTap handles and provides SAN work through management of storage, setup of LUNs and related management is proprietary.
Storage Array Network
FC, iscsi, cifs, NFS are the means by which the device grants different platforms access..
FC and iscsi makes the LUNs as local storage resource for the host to which it is allocated
Versus cifs which is a network resource.

FC require an FC switches and FC HBAs in the hosts to which ...
Whether you build multipath, redundancy.
Two paths means if one FC from the netapp "breaks" there is another path from the netapp..

This is standard consideration, implementation with SAN deployment.

It might be simpler to answer if you would specify what you are after, what you are trying to accomplish.
