Email sent from a personal email address to a mail group - Emails are not coming through
Hi
We have move to 0365 and users sync from on prem AD server. I have created a universal distribution group enquires@myorg.co.uk on our on prem AD server and this group has synced with 0365 and I can see his distribution group in the 0365 and there are 5 users is n this group.
When I send email within my organization to this distribution group- all the members within the group receive the email
But if I send from my personal Gmail to the this distribution group , it doesn’t receive.
Please let me know what the issue could be.
We would like the external users from their personal email to send an email to enquires@myorg.co.uk - and the mail received in this mail box must be delivered to all 5 members in our organisation. Is there a better way of setting up this?

If i delete this universal mail group enquires@myorg.co.uk
Create a mail box called enquires@myorg.co.uk
Create a mail group callled xyz@myorg.co.uk - add all the 5 users to this group
and set a forward on enquires@myorg.co.uk TO xyz@myorg.co.uk
So any one sends an email to enquires@myorg.co.uk this gets forwarded to this mail groupxyz@myorg.co.uk
Create a mail box called enquires@myorg.co.uk
Create a mail group callled xyz@myorg.co.uk - add all the 5 users to this group
and set a forward on enquires@myorg.co.uk TO xyz@myorg.co.uk
So any one sends an email to enquires@myorg.co.uk this gets forwarded to this mail groupxyz@myorg.co.uk
