Who do I boot from a cloned disk

I used Acronis Clone Disk utility to clone a disk, but the cloned disk is not bootable.

You are providing very few informations, but a good start would be to verify your bios settings.
If you cloned it using a USB docking station, try getting into the BIOS then check the boot options to see if it is available. You might have to make some changes to enable it.

We really need a little more info on how you plan to connect it to help.

Did you clone the whole drive or just one partition? Examine the original and the clone in Disk Management and compare how they look.

The whole drive.
Did you create a hard drive clone or did you create a hard drive image?

An image won't boot but has to be copied onto a boot drive in order to complete the process.

So, you'd boot from an Acronis DVD or USB stick and use the environment there to create a cloned version of the original on boot media.

You probably already know this but just in case ......
