Getting Bluetooth Music (from iPhone) NOT interrupted by incoming Text Message

When I listen to music on my BT speakers, a sound plays to announce incoming Text Messages and emails. How can I stop that?

Thanks

Settings > Notifications > Messages >  Sounds > change to None  (You might want to  change the Vibration mode if you want to know there's a message but don't want your music interrupted)

Similarly for Mail

You may have to play with the Allow Notifications options too depending on OS.

I like those sounds when I am not playing music...is there a setting that will not need to be toggled for playing music? I forget to switch back...

You could try using Do Not Disturb

You'll still need to remember to switch off but it's only one thing to change.

You could use IFTTT to set up rules based on MASQ's suggestions

For example:
If connected to Bluetooth AND music is playing -> Notifications are silent.

And then set it to turn notifications back on when music stops
