How to attach excel file in Office 365 ?

I'm using Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus.  In Microsoft Office Word Document, how to attach excel file?

Go to Insert -> Text -> Object -> Create from file -> Browse -> locate the file -> to add the file as an embedded object, select Display as icon, and then select OK.

I didn't see "Create from file" under Object.  So, I chose "Text from File" but that pastes the file in the document.

Under 'Insert', I didn't see "Document Item"

Drag and Drop worked great.  Thank you very much!
