It does seem like someone is trying to gain access to some of your sites, etc.<br />

First thing I would do is change your password on your Cox email account to something very strong.<br />
<br />
Also, don't click on any of the links in the emails, check what they are linking to and make sure they are not sinister destination sites.<br />
<br />
The Lyft one seems like they may have tried to recover a password there, but you never had an account there. &nbsp;In itself not too much to worry about there.<br />
<br />
The Amazon one is fairly typical for Amazon, but assumes you had an account there with that email address as one of the email addresses for it. &nbsp;Are you saying that isn't the case, you have never created an Amazon account?<br />

Hello and Thanks...…… Sorry - I misspoke - I do have a amazon account and it is under that e-mail address. But they (the e-mails) all arrived so close to each other (some minutes apart) and the fact that I don't use two of the three listed - It seemed very weird to me. Nothing like this has ever happened. And the one e-mail saying the password was actually changed, made me a bit anxious. Just thought I'd ask an expert how to handle this.<br />
I am somewhat smart when it comes to e-mails...…. I never just open an e-mail - I examine the e-mail and links carefully before doing anything with it. Thank God I still have the mental capacity to at least do that. So your advice is still the same?

For Amazon, probably a good idea to change your password and check for any activity on that account. &nbsp;Probably a good idea to start using two factor authentication on that service as well, using your phone as a second factor, etc.<br />

Seems to me like it is a script job doing the same maybe for lots of more addreses and accounts (*because of the fact that they all arrived close to each other).

Be thankful you have 2 factor authentication enabled. Someone other than you is trying to get into your accounts but 2FA is stopping them in their tracks. I use the various authenticators on my phone microsoft/google/lastpass and yes it is a slow down but at least I know my accounts are secure.&nbsp;

UPDATE!!!! Woke up today to 8 new &quot;hacking indicating&quot; e-mails...…… they imply/look like, the attempts were successful. Attached are these images - in the order I received them. WHAT DO I DO?????<br />
Although I do not use Microsoft LIVE...… not sure what it is - just know I was required to get it with my last computer purchase (windows 10)…… MY QUESTION IS HOW CAN THIS EFFECT THE REST OF MY ACCOUNTS???<br />

if you have that account setup anywhere else as a recovery or secondary email account then by all means try to recover it/secure it as well as secure/change pwd, add 2faa to any such site where you have used that account, or else someone will use it to get access to anywhere else where you have used that email account as secondary.<br />

Also if you are like 99.9999% of the people who dont like to remember thousands of passwords (like myself), and you use the same password for many services, or a variation of such password then change it everywhere.
