USB hubs can be problematic though they certainly should not be. &nbsp;The standard diagnostic for hubs is to disconnect the hub, then attach the USB device or devices directly to the system. &nbsp;If the problem goes away, then the issue is in the hub.<br />

When a problem has been determined to be in a hub, throw the hub away. &nbsp;If it gives trouble once with device A, it will do it again with device B, C, etc.

you can check if there are no loose connections, or bents in the cables; verify by flexing the cables gently, and wiggling a bit the connctor in the slot<br />
eventually - test the hub on another PC to be sure the problem comes from the hub
