Converting *.DAV files

I run Windows 10 on a Lenovo laptop.   I recently got a security camera that saves events as an *.DAV file.  None of the numerous video programs on my computer can read the files (Cyberlink, NERO, Movies and TV, etc.).  Is there a conversion program out there (paid is fine) that can handle these files?

Thanks,

Phil

Hum... DAV files seem poorly supported...

https://www.videosolo.com/tutorials/convert-dav-to-mp4-for-free.html covers several approaches.

And... Security cameras which produce .mp4 files natively are super cheap.

Over time, likely cheapest option (time/convenience wise) is to replace your camera(s).

Thanks, David.  I'm more than willing to replace the incredibly complicated Amcrest camera I purchased.  What brand would you recommend?

Rather than convert, here are a few options that may be able to play the files...

Thanks, Bill.  I appreciate the ability to play the *.DAV files - is there any way to convert them so I can share them?
