VMs in esxi 6.5 not starting
VMWare 6.5 Esxi
Hi there, I just upgraded exsi to from 6 to 6.5. (This is a test server I haven't used in a long time.) For whatever reason, I can't start most of the VM, it looks as if they can't find the OS when I start them. When I browse the datastore I see the folder for each corresponding VM with all the files in there. Is there a way for me to "re-enabled" the VMs ?
thanks.

You can test one of the VMs by first looking at the hard disk to enumerate where it located on the datastore. Once this is completed you can unregister from the ESXi host and browse to the datastore folder fro this VM and register the VMX file for it. If the VM is in good shape it should start up.

Have you check the hardware configuration of the vms ?
