I am trying to create a WorkFlow for our SharePoint 2019 Intranet, and I would like to use Visual Studio 2019. &nbsp;I have a SharePoint 2019 running on a virtual server with WorkFlow Manager and Service Bus running. &nbsp;I have my Visual Studio 2019 installed on my PC.<br />
I do not understand why every time I try to create a new project such as SharePoint 2019 - Visual Web Part or Empty Project, I get an error saying that &quot;SharePoint is not installed - The required version of SharePoint Foundation or SharePoint Server is not installed on this system. &nbsp;The target version of the SharePoint project is 2019&quot;<br />

Does this mean that I have to install Visual Studio directly on the Server? &nbsp; I cannot use my PC as client and just point to SharePoint server?<br />
When I click on Learn More link under the error, it just takes me to a download page for SharePoint, and I cannot understand what this means.<br />
