IIS 10.0

My computer tech installed IIS on my Windows 10 PC.
Does that mean IIS 10.0 server is installed ?
If it isn't, whats the best download for a 64 bit machine ?
I do see that InetPub is present.

yes, it does mean that IIS is installed.

there is no additional download - IIS is an optional OS component.

ASKER

I am somewhat confused.
The last time I wanted to run PHP the Experts had me install IIS 7.5 Express on my Windows 7 machine.
So now that I have Windows 10 I don't need to install any other IIS ?

now im confused....

You want to run PHP.... and last time, on your Windows 7 machine, you installed IIS express.

If you want IIS on Windows 10, you install the IIS 10 windows component, that sounds like it has been done.... thats all there is too it.

if you want IIS 10 express - for development purposes - then get IIS 10 express - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48264

if you cant tell us what your end goal is - we cant help you decide which one you need.
very helpful, thanks.
