Are x...x and y...y delivered on ONE cable?....  (effectivy xy...xy.0/netmask, with xy...xy.x & xx...xy.y as IP addresses and xy...xy.z as gateway)
Yes: (within one subnet)
* you need one interface connected to a bridge: handling xy....xy.0/netmask of outer network (no confugration)
* you need one guest connected to this bridge with xy...xy.x/netmask xy...xy.z as gateway)
* you need the other guest connected to this bridge xy...xy.y/netmask xy...xy.z as gateway).
A bridge is a "virtual" hub/switch

Yes:  with no subnet...

* you need the other guest connected to this bridge y...y/netmask y...y.b as gateway).

No:  You need one bridge per external interface and connect one guest to each bridge.
