Backing up a Buffalo NAS to the cloud

One of our clients has a Buffalo NAS for their important files, and we want to back up to the cloud (it is not one of the ones that will backup to OneDrive or cloud) so we are trying to do so using the synced tool from Anchor, which is already backing up one of the computers onsite, but we need to give full control to SYSTEM in order to do so, which keeps failing.
Anyone have thoughts on how to back it up?

What I had to do for something like this is to set the NAS as a drive to a local computer and set the back up to the local computer. I don't know if that is the best option but it is what worked for me .

There is a similar discussion https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/29169635/Backup-solutions-for-Synology-NAS.html but the end result was using a Synology tool for a Synology device.

How were you able to set the NAS to back up to the computer? The Buffalo seems to only be able to back up to another Buffalo.

I just set the NAS location as a drive letter to one users computer and also installed the back up to that computer. It was not the solution I wanted but it worked.
