Try adding the following sub to Form 1 so it is maximized every time it gets focus.<br />

&nbsp; &nbsp;DoCmd.Maximize 'Maximize the form every time it gets focus<br />

If the user is able to go back to form 1 without closing form 2, then you will probably want to add this code to form 2 as well so it will be full screen when the user returns to it.<br />

I had already tried that. &nbsp;I ended up making both forms popup form and that solved the problem.

I have a form that includes a hyperlink field that when clicked opens a 2nd form. &nbsp;(The first form is left open.) &nbsp;Both forms open maximized. &nbsp;But when the 2nd form is closed, the 1st form doesn't fill the screen and I can't figure out why. &nbsp;Neither of the forms has DoCommand.Restore code anywhere. &nbsp;Why wouldn't the 1st form fill the screen when the 2nd form is closed?
