How to share PC USB connected webcam's camera feed across network so that the camera feed can be viewed on other PCs?

Hi,

We have a cheap webcam plugged into our Windows 10 PC in our office via USB.

We have multiple PCs connected on our network in our office including PC webcam connected to.

Is it possible to share the webcam's camera feed across our network so that the camera feed can be viewed on other PCs than one webcam connected to?

How would we accomplish this?

Thanks,
Robbie

A USB connected webcam, can be shared by just using VLC to stream (easier to understand than FFMPEG), and can be viewed everywhere (LAN and even worldwide if necessary), using VLC as well (though probably also any mobile device with the correct app).

Hi,

We have VLC video player installed.

Can you provide me with instructions on how to stream the webcam camera feed over network using VLC?

It would be handy if there is a video on how to do this.

Thanks,
Robbie
