asked on macOS Catalina Calendar print fails when changing print layout
A client using a modern iMac running Catalina tries to print a daily calendar. If Calendar is set to Day when she issues File>Print, the print layout never completes, and we see the spinning "progress indicator" never complete spinning.
If we take down Calendar, bring it up again, switch to a different view, like Month, then File>Print, we see the Month print layout. If we change the View in the print dialog to Day, we get the same hang -- no layout shown and the endless spinning indicator.
The client thinks this began after a recent software update. Any idea where to look next?
