MFA, Office 365 & Cell Phone
The company has a domain called “boba.local.
It uses Office 365, and the MFA (Multi Function Authentication) is enabled.
The password to login to Office 365 (either Outlook client or Web based Outlook) using the same password as the user to login to boba.local
Company Policy: Every domain user has to change his/her windows password every 90 days.
Info:
+) User A changes her windows password and accepted by the system; to make sure she tested it to open the Microsoft Outlook at her laptop; sending email to herself which she received it.
+) User A install office 365 at her cell phone (Samsung Notes 8)(Note: This cell phone is used to approve or disapprove the MFA).She could open the Microsoft Outlook, the Microsoft Team with this cell phone
Problem:
+) After she changed her windows password above, she can NO LONGER be able to open Microsoft outlook and Microsoft team from her cell phone.
Any solution? Should she uninstall the office 365 from her cell phone(is there any problem when she does it?)?
Thanks,
tjie

the problem is that the windows machine AD that is synced via Azure AD to office 365 and you do a password change is that the phone has no idea that the password changed. You have to change the password on the other device manually.
