Cant Delete/ Remove adds in and Screencastify from Google Chrome

You disable extensions by resetting settings. If you want to remove them, go to chrome://extensions/ and then remove them. If you cannot do it from here, extensions are located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions.

Btw have you considered reinstalling Chrome completely?

If you REALLY REALLY don't need anything in Chrome anymore (saved passwords etc), your Chrome will definitely start as new after you delete this folder:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Google

I navigated to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions. once I arrive in extensions there are many folders. I assume each folder correspond to an extensions. should I delete each folder that correspond to the extension that i don't want to keep anymore ?

Yes, I also tried to reistalling completely Google Chrome and after a brand new installation all the extensions were still there :(

I like this idea, let me ask if she doesnt' care about the bookmarks and i will try to delete that folder.

Bookmarks can still be exported now. You can import them again after you remove the folder I told you about. Passwords, you can sync with your Google Account also, it will be back after you start over and log into your Google Account again. Basically, if you prepare properly, you won't lose a lot.

I tried to delete everything i found inside the folder name "extensions".The majority of the junk showing up in the browser disappeared but there were still some left over and the icon of  Screencastify is still there. Hard to believe !!!!

I saved the bookmarks and now if trying deleting completely the Google folder.......

Question? after I delete the Google folder, how to i put it back. do i need to reinstall Google chrome and it automatically will recreated that folder or I just double click the Google Chrome icon i have on the desktop and it will put back that folder ?

Excellent Job. I deleted teh google chrome folder. and when I double clicked the Chrome icon on the desktop it create automatically that folder. Google Chrome is brand new and working great!!!
