I have a Windows 2019 (non-Core) Hyper-V host server with all current updates with 10 VM's and all are either Win10 or Win2019.
Problem is that on this host server in Hyper-V manager I was previously able to Right click on a VM and Connect and have the session into a VM but now I cannot do it any more. I click and the cursor changes for a second and then nothing happens with no error message.
I am however able to do all this from a Windows 10 client machine which has a Hyper-V Manager installed and connected to the host server.
I am also able to RDP into the guest VM's from the Host server and other clents.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Test as a different server admin. It could be that the problem occurs for one user only. Then it cod be called a profile problem.

Find a maintenance time and uninstall, then re-install the hyper-v role. You could test to remove the hyper-v-management tools, only, first, and then re-install those.

Thanks for those of you who replied. Unfortunately I have already tried all those things. A new piece of discovery.. Looks like the problem also happens if I choose "turn windows features on or off" from Programs & features. Nothing happens if I click on that. No Empty List No dialog box nothing... I have already tried the sfc /scannow and dism commands too.
