The camera itself outputs in NTSC video using the H.265/H.264 codecs so unencrypted, so this might be down to the NVR you've connected it to converting the output into something less accessible.

The camera send out via ftp .dav video files. There is software (not so cheap) to convert some of them but not all. The camera is very clear and good when sending me snapshot .jpg who I can assemble into normal video file,  But my question is still unresolved.

So you are pulling/pushing the video directly from the camera over ftp without the use of an NVR?
What software are you currently using to look at the .dav?
Lorex usually use FLIR to convert to .AVI or .MP4
There's a player here
http://www.digimerge.com/MMC/legacy/D3000/FLIR-Video-Player.zip
Does this recognise & play your .dav format?

https://www.lorextechnology.com/downloads/ip-cameras/LNB8005/LNB8005_Series_Specs_R1.pdf show you can output h.264 or h.265 video in a .mp4 container, so the answer to your question is to switch from output of a .dav file to a .mp4 file with appropriate video codec type.

Codec type consideration.

h.264 - will playback in any device or video player or web browser.

h.265 - currently has no native browser support, so right now you'd have to do playback on a SetTop device (like Roku) or HEVC aware player like VLC.

So h.265 will will take a fraction of disk space with playback complexity, while h.264 will be much larger files with playback simplicity.
