asked on Excel online can't refresh pivot table data
Hello exports,
We use excel online for collaboration. Pivot tables work fine. But when data is changed, and we want to refresh the pivot table data it gives a error.

I have no external data source, all of the pivot tables sources are in the workbook.
How can we solve this?

Not sure you can refresh a pivot table in a shared workbook - may have to unshare it, refresh and then share again.

Hmmm, sharing is the main reason why we use Excel Online. I'll test how pivot tables work without having the workbook shared.
