Windows Firewall Versus Norton Internet Security versus Malware Bytes.

If I have Norton Internet Security "on", do I need the Windows Firewall turned "on"?
If I have malware Bytes "on", do I need the Windows Firewall turned "on"?

malware detection and firewall are two separate things
the firewall whether the windwos built in or the one included with norton deal with network traffic and access granting to and from your computer.
Often, if third party NOrton, symantec, etc. internet security tool is installed, it will disable the windows firewall to favor itself. The firewall check usually knows about the well known and will not as suggested alert based on firewall... but others that do not properly "register" will/could reflect the status as "Hello there" mentioned.
mallware is detected by the anti-virus/anti-malware functions of the installed tool be it norton, symantec, Mcaffee, etc. or the MS defender.
deals with downloaded files, running processes to see if they ....

Malwarebytes scans for malware, etc. I would keep the firewall on.
