I agreed that you don't have to relocate the monitoring mailbox...I stated you need to clean it up to avoid the orphaned mailbox after you delete the DB<br />

Do you know what exactly it was used for? NDRs, etc? If the account that it is tied to is an admin account that you need and you don't need the mailbox you can disable the mailbox, however:<br />

Relocating Exchange 2016 mailboxes?

Exchange is the server side of a collaborative application product that is part of the Microsoft Server infrastructure. Exchange's major features include email, calendaring, contacts and tasks, support for mobile and web-based access to information, and support for data storage.

Exchange
