Exchange 2010 Migration

Due to issues with a raid controller i have been forced to build up a new exchange 2010 (dont ask....) server and migrate data from the current server to the new one.

I have got all mailboxes moved across and so as far as i can tell setup everything else that is required.

I thought i was at the stage of just repointing the firewall to the new server but when i quickly tested this clients couldnt reconnect. the server is responding to 443 and 25.

Is there a final switch over process i need to do within exchange?

thanks

Did you migrate the certificate (if using OWA) to the new server?  Did you also migrate HUB/CAS roles to the new server as well?

Certificate was done

Are you able to confirm the steps required to migrate hub and cas roles?

Thanks

I believe i have done all that.  I will double check the iis setup again and repoint the firewall and see what happens.

All seems fine with ssl.

I have a PC setup which connects to a mailbox fine.

If i close outlook and repoint port 25 and 443 to the new server and then open outlook it says the store is unavailable even though this users mailbox is setup on the new server.
