managing process if crashed on ubuntu

I have ubuntu vps, and I have a running process on it.
Sometimes the process crash, and I want to manage this by make the process auto-restart if crashed.
Any help?

The big challenge with monit + other similar approaches is you can end up in a crash + restart infinite loop.

The resource usage can crash the machine.

Or you can end up with multiple copies of the same process running, which might corrupt data.

Better to fix the code problem causing the crash + avoid many complex headaches.

Suggestion: Open another question describing the crash. Likely someone can suggest possible solutions.
