DLP: Data Exfiltration
Is there a way to protect against users exfiltrating offline data via the camera on their smartphones when they aren't connected to the VPN or to the network?
Example Scenario: John Smith, is working from home, he isn't connected to the VPN, but earlier that day when he was connected, he moved a file down from the network drive to his corporate laptops local drive. John is savvy with DLP controls and knows how it works, so he decides he's going to take a picture of the sensitive data from his monitor to store in his smartphone gallery. John also has his smartphone set up to automatically upload new photos to Dropbox or Google Drive.
How do you protect against this behavior?
