Quit screwing with EE
EE interface changed again today (or recently), can't award multiple people, difficult to leave a comment on a closed question.
Why can't you leave alone stuff that already WORKS!!!

I don't like many of the changes either. I especially don't like that clicking on questions in the search list does not open them in a new window any more.

I answered one today, Can't remember exact title, something about WordPress Nightmares.
It does not show what it used to, a place to thank the participating experts & rank their level of helpfulness. Also, no comment after awarding someone, just that, you're done.
I could see it might be easier for users, don;t you think the experts who answer deserve some credit too? Taking away that ability, as I said, sucks.Things are LESS intuitive now, if there is a way to do this, it's hidden & NOT obvious.

Recent changes all seem bad to me.
I'm with Richard, just leave things that are working alone.

I hope the beta testers of your new “more intuitive” (not) interface included average people in the general public. If it only included internet experts, no wonder.
just few comments from me:
- In old text editor, we used to have marker [mark] something [/mark] tag which we can highlight the text but now it's gone.
- The "Preview" button is gone too.

Thank you. Looks like some of what I mentioned caught some attention. I would be honored to be a beta participant next time. But I have to warn you, it might be like I responded this time.
Richard,
No worries, Criticism is always welcomed at EE, as long as its constructive in nature so things can be rationally improved.

btw, it seems that the "Add to knowledge base" shortcut is no longer available in new layout as well.
@Ryan,
The MARK tag still seems to work for me (in BTF mode).

<blockquote>The MARK tag still seems to work for me (in BTF mode).</blockquote><br>coo ol on that Bill, so one more step is needed here, but glad to know it works : )
And, to make it even more interesting, try pasting this into a new comment in BTF mode, then switch it to WYSIWY mode, and then SUBMIT it. Interesting...
