Two exchange servers, two domains and one AD forest
Hello All,
I need help from your experties. I have a case scenario:
One Active Directory where I have one Exchange 2016 with domain.com. This domain will be decomissioned soon and a new domain, domain.net will be activated.
in the mean time, to do all transition within one year from domain.com to domain.net, I have installed another Exchange 2016 and added domain.net as proxy email.
The certificate is issued for mail.domain.com and email.domain.net.
How to make those servers with 2 domains work in the same forest?

I added to the second DB created on the second Exchange server.
The problem is that I have to switch from domain.com reply-to to domain.net.
Second issue, I cannot add mailto:user@domain.net to mobile or pc outlook.

After you add domain.net as an accepted domain you have to do the next(authoratative)

The project is for production. the case scenario is as follow:
I have one DC where the promary domani is company.local and public domanin is ABC.com with an exchange 2016.
The company got splited from the mother company and we aquired another public domain 123.com.
ABC.com is going to be used for 1 year more to have time for customers to get used to the new domain 123.com.
My plan was to have a second exchange 2016 where i can host the second domain 123.com as accepted domain and proxy emails.
Once the server is ready and full functioning, I was planning to change the reply-to from ABC.com to 123.com.
After one year I was thinking to change the primary domain from ABC.com to 123.com.
What I should do?
I have installed the second exchange server so far (with second public domain and SSL certificate for IIS)
The first domain emails are working fine (OWA, Outlook,Mobile)
Second domain (If I change reply-to from first domani to second) works fine in Outlook and OWA but I cannot use that email on Mobile. (Is not pulling the forlders, emails and contacts)

I forgot to mention that both public domains are hosted on outside DNS servers.
ABC.com is hosted on DNS server in Germany
123.com is hosted on Bluehost.
Both dns servers have MX records pointing to Exchange servers mentioned on previous post
