Aruba vs Pulse VPN Client
What is the point of deploying Aruba RAPs to employees homes vs using Pulse Connect client on their laptops? What security benefits are there?
Scenario is an employee has a laptop with docking station and monitors only.

Different vpn clients have different bells and whistles.. At the basic levels they are all equivalent.
From what I see you cannot compare those.
Aruba RAP is a preconfigured hardware device to plug into your home office network, to get seamless access to office resources without need for extra configuration changes or installation of a VPN client.
Aruba VIA is comparable to Pulse Secure. You run a dedicated VPN client on each device to gain access. This kind of remote access requires only configuration on the office gateway and an amount of licenses, and works great for mobile access from everywhere or occasional access. It can make use of token generators for 3 factor authentication.

So the only benefit of an Aruba RAP is to give seamless VPN/Wifi access to your network vs using a VPN client on your windows machine?
