Need information on about OPC and its Client implementation in VC++
Hi, There is requirement to connect OPC Server from our labelling HMI, I am new to OPC, when i google i found some information about OPC, but no information about its Implementation, can you please guide on this and also what are tags means in OPC terminolgy,

Since I was from Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) using rfcsdk.dll, nwrfcsdk.dll other *.so and *.sl across the platforms.
How ever I have used C C++ from 2003 till 2013 and 1 day on 2018
Related to C++ developer we can use
1. Linux from vmplayer(free of cost)
2. cygwin at windows(free of cost) => setup*.exe --no-admin but using cygwin1.dll at software companies business oriented if we are releasing the binary.
3. visual c++(I used only at college days to implement POP3 protocol to receive emails from yahoo.com) cygwin better than vlc.exe to port Linux to windows within 3/4 weeks for ERP.
