How to run DISM GUI

I stumbled across this utility, DISM GUI and now trying to launch it but without success. http://www.deploymentninja.com/home/easily-add-drivers-and-updates-to-images-with-gui-dism

What applications do I need for this to work? I downloaded it from the developer's site but cannot find an aplication for it and I made sure that visual studio is installed(which i have no experience with with).

why not use server manager..

I think this is a third party app that provides an interface to the command line dism tool.
I.e. Similar to the sync toy that was created as a GUI to robocopy.

server manager for updating wim images?

I’ve never used it. I don’t do much of this these days as I’m just building an installer disk for a relative and shipping it to them just want to make it as easy as possible for them to install Windows etc.

Have you used DISM Gui and know how to start it?

The DISM GUI tool you shared is pretty old from 2012. If you want a better tool to update your wim, use this tool called Wim Witch. Pretty straight forward. Just follow the instructions.
