Allow Sync Of More Than "The Last Month" from Exchange 2016 to Windows 10 Mail App?

I'm trying to get a remote user setup with emails from exchange. He is outside our normal ecosystem and just using the Windows 10 Mail app to connect to Exchange 2016.

It's all up and running fine, however it is only syncing emails from the last month. When looking in the Sync Options, under "Download email from" the longest option is "the last month", however other gmail/hotmail accounts have an option for "any time"?

Any ideas on how to get the "any time" option within the Mail app?

Thanks. I didn't think it was possible, but thought I would double check.

Unfortunately, this user (who is a family friend of a director) doesn't "want" to use the web app... Everyone else is happy to use the web app.

Just wanted to make sure I was correct in what I was saying to them.
The arguments are on your side, since OWA has much more options/functions compared to the windows mail app.
I cannot confirm that 1 month is the most you can get, but again, the mail app is very limited in functionality and not highly configurable, not meant for this.
Can't even persuade him to use Outlook! He'll just have to either use Mail and not have all the emails, or use OWA and stop being awkward :)

Thanks for your clarification.
