Have you read the documentation of the SMS gateway API with its limitations and constraints?

I agree with Ryan. That said, if your gateway has a limit, why not just validate the message length before sending - or do some coding to abbreviate things... and then validate...<br><br>myMsg = Replace(myMsg, "you", "u")<br>etc.

Here is what a typical message would look like...it's just a message to a coach indicating their race finishers. &nbsp;I can't make it much smaller than that. &nbsp;I would be fine unless a team has more than 60 or so finishers in a specific race and that almost never happens. &nbsp;I just don't want system to stop if that happens:<br><br><pre><code class="code-10 nolinks" id="code-20-43087720-1"><span>Results: B-JV </span>

Sending SMS Via Classic ASP

Active Server Pages (ASP) is Microsoft’s first server-side engine for dynamic web pages. ASP’s support of the Component Object Model (COM) enables it to access and use compiled libraries such as DLLs. It has been superseded by ASP.NET, but will be supported by Internet Information Services (IIS) through at least 2022.
