i am able to get the data on tcp client application with two different machines but when i am using the same application for third machine (Hematology Analyzer) i am not able to even connect it . on a test application provided by the manufacturer i am able to get the data. i am even more confused with the network settings of machine and laptop. machine has two type of ipaddresses, one for network ping and another for LIS purpose. The LIS purpose machine ip address never pings. Surprising thing is that testing application has mandated it to use the LIS IP Address to be must for the Laptop IP address i.e. LIS Ip address and Ip address of Laptop has to be same. i am not able to understand this why it has been mandated and why my client application is not able to get the data over tcp/ip protocol.
prescribed settings for the test application are attached which is more confusing for me. with these settings the data is received on the test application but with the same settings my application is not able to receive the data from the analyzer.
