iPhone screen recorder does not record Zoom audio

Hi Experts!

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max.  Sometimes I use the screen recorder to record a video that can’t be download or Zoom call or a Teams, Skype, etc.

When I record a video it records sound but noticed that when recording Zoom (haven’t tried the others), that the audio is not recorded.

I have toggle the microphone on/off (see pix below) but can’t get the iPhone recorder to record sound.

What can I do to record audio also in my Zoom conferences?

Why you don't use zoom functionality to record the meeting ?
Why you don't use zoom functionality to record the meeting ?

You have to be the host of the meeting if you want to use zoom functionality to record the meeting.

I am ask to attend the Zoom, I guess as a guest .  I don't use Zoom per-se as for me, jst when sent a link.  So I don't knew if I have to recording feature...
Zoom or Apple probably blocks that as a privacy thing. You should ask the host to make a recording available for participants to download.

Really? I mean I can record hours of Zoom. it's just no sound.   If it was privacy, then couldn't record video either.
It was off the top of my head about the privacy part. I inferred that from Android phone users having trouble with recording phone calls. So I assumed audio recordings were restricted under Zoom as well.
