I suggest reinstalling RSAT. As a test I installed WindowsTH-RSAT_WS2016-x64.msu on Windows 10 and Deleted Objects container is visible and I am able to operate with objects without issues.<br><a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45520" rel="ugc">https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45520</a>&nbsp;<br><br>

I have ver1909. I tried to install from "Features on Demand" option while logged in with my admin account (it won't show with a regular user account to install) but it never installs. Fails, i assume, just stops, and i have to try it again for some reason. So i installed a ver18xx version from that link and got it to install, but i can't see Deleted items in Admin Center.<br><br>Is there anything else to do to install it with ver1909 so it successfully installs? It just fails/stops installing every single time when i try to do it the way they show online for 1909.

The reason why it did not install is because your WSUS server does not have the RSAT tools and trues and fails to install from there. The fix is to bypass to WU server:<br>a)Temporarily disable the update from the WSUS server in the registry (open the registry key <strong>HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU</strong> and change the <strong>UseWUServer&nbsp;</strong>to <strong>0</strong>) and restart the Update Service.<br>&nbsp;<br>b) Open an elevated Powershell Command box and run the following:-<br>&nbsp;<br>c) Get-WindowsCapability -Name RSAT* -Online | Add-WindowsCapability –Online<br>&nbsp;<br>d) This will download all RSAT Tools. &nbsp;If you need individual ones then look at this webpage <a href="http://woshub.com/install-rsat-feature-windows-10-powershell/" rel="ugc">http://woshub.com/install-rsat-feature-windows-10-powershell/</a> on how to choose them.<br>&nbsp;<br>e) Don’t forget to reset the registry setting back to 1

Peter - to see it the old way like i can on my Domain Controller, you're probably right.<br><br>Hello There - after installing the ...2016x64 installer and opening <a target="_blank" rel="ugc nofollow">mydomain.com</a> and moving down to Deleted Objects container (used to seeing a hyperlink on a DC higher in the "hierarchy" under <a target="_blank" rel="ugc nofollow">mydomain.com</a>) - i successfully restored a test object.<br><br>Thanks guys - you were basically both right.
