Can't get rid of Chrome "the selected printer is not available or not installed correctly" printing error at multiple locations

Hey Everyone,

We have a client that is having a weird printing issue I'm hoping someone here has fixed before.  They have three locations with the same Sharp printers and random computers at each location have started giving the error "the selected printer is not available or not installed correctly" when trying to print.  It works normally in all other browsers and local programs, she reinstalls Chrome and it works again.  Sometimes it comes back and she reinstalls chrome again and it works, sometimes it stays away.  Completely random.  Drivers have been updated, etc.  Not finding anything on google except to try Ctrl+Alt+P which just pops up the same error message.  Default extensions are in the browser, only ABP and Adobe Reader which shouldn't block printing, we've disabled all extensions anyway and it still didn't print.

Any help would be great!

Try that and see if it works.

Don't reinstall Google Chrome. Next time remove the printer and add it back and see if it helps.

Neither of those work, we've tried them.  Chrome seems to have issues with printing more than others, just weird that it's only this client having the issue now and random computers at all three sites.

How did you reinstall Chrome? I would do it again. But this time, after you uninstall it, delete all related folders in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google . Then install it back.
