asked on

Refreshing workstation hard drive image each night

I know that schools and libraries do this:
Restore workstation hard drive image overnight.

What's a good way to automate doing this so there is an absolute minimum of interaction / maintnenance necessary?

I figure that, from time to time, we will want to take an action to create a new image so that updates, etc. might be brought in.
So, that's another objective.
How?
If we could update the computer in one step then we could restore the current image, do the update and then save the new image .. and be done.
