Have a client on O365, needs to have at least 1 year email accessible at all times so unable to turn off cached exchange mode.
Sync Issues \ local failures folder contains over 945,000 items ( yes 945k) needless to say this needs clearing out as he is constantly getting prompts that he is nearing the 1 million message limit.
If i try and manually remove blocks of emails by selecting and deleting them the total drops but there are far too many to do this way. Selecting all simply kills outlook off. I cant clean up the folder - nothing happens, if i add his outlook profile on to another PC the Sync Issues \ local failures folder comes over too. Ive looked at exporting the mailbox but im unable to deselect the sync issues folder.
