server manager refresh failed. none of the services working in DC

Hi,

right now all services in the dc are failing(dhcp/dns/raidius/all services)

had a look in server manager, it has all red flags, refresh failed.

weird is- had a look in the pc properties, found its not showing the domain name at all. .. its showing workgroup and its not available

tried refreshing mof files.. follwed this link. step1: did not resolve the problem..   https://www.urtech.ca/2016/07/solved-server-manager-2012-configuration-refresh-failed-with-the-following-error-invalid-class/

when did it start?  what changed?
are there other domain controllers?  if so, have you checked their health?

What operations have you made recently? What might trigger this?

It seems like the server is no longer a DC. Do you have another DC in a domain?

hi, yes i have another DC2 in the domain.
and i could not find what happened to the failed dc1. so we decided to build  a new vm as secondary dc3.

i found in fsmo roles:
schema master- failed dc1
domain naming master - failed dc1
prdc/rid/infra - all three roles in good dc2.

how do i change the forest roles from failed dc1 to good dc2 ?
when i try to go into domain and trust in failed dc. am getting the error from the pic attached. and if i go to the good dc2- it says current operation master is offline.

you need to seize the other 2 roles on dc2; gui tools will only attempt a normal transfer which will fail in your case
