I need some advice on streaming hardware and services..

Last Modified: 2020-05-29
Hi experts,

Some time ago when I set up my HDTV for movies, my OPPO DVD player which was obsolete after three months, was my only streaming device. I had a Roku, but I didn't like it much. To be honest, I find the remote more like a child's toy than a serious remote. Although it is only for Roku.

My other TV which is only for viewing television when I don't want to go into the theater room is a Smart TV. It gives me other choices. But, even though both TVs run off the same Dish and Hopper, etc., you can't share the streaming. The more important streaming is on the HDTV, and I get Vudu, Netflix, and YouTube. Not Hulu. I haven't tried any of the new ones.

So, my question is what hardware should I purchase to give me more options?
