SharePoint Audit Log

For SharePoint 365, with audit log enabled, we are able to see permission additions to folders and files, however, not when a user/group is removed from permissions to a folder, it seems as though this isn't logged.

Can this be confirmed by anyone?

Yes we are using unified audit logging and you would think it would save to the audit log when you remove a user/group from the permissions on a folder or document library, but it doesn't!

I just did a test, and removed a group from having permissions to a folder with unique permissions, then checked the audit log and there's no trace of the action. Has anyone heard of this? Seems so odd. It's the one thing we want to know, from the hundreds of actions that are recorded, seems crazy not to have added this one.
