"What is the best low-cost IT initiative that an enterprise can implement today?" This isn't a real question, unless you're going to leave the term "initiative" to the responder. If so, the least expensive thing I can think of that's IT related might be buying a $3 USB thumbdrive at a gas station somewhere.
"What are the benefits of this initiative?" I'd have a thumb drive cheap.
"What resources will be necessary to deploy this initiative?" $3 and a gas station.

wow, extremely vague question and not really a question. I mean what if they already have a thumb drive, why buy another.
While I cannot say low-cost, but MFA can have huge returns on investment.
As I know this is very vague question, looking for examples like Scott, some initiatives that you have been apart of, the benefits for the enterprise. Any recent initiatives that you are proud of?
