one more vote for brave regarding security, even tho for some users brave may not work fine on some sites but then again if that happens you will be better off getting your information on some other page, because if that happens it is because brave is blocking something that sholdn't be there in the first place, <br />
least secure I would say internet explrorer, from all the rest, edge,chrome are based on chromium so inherently as secure or insecure as chrome itself which recently has been frown upon &nbsp;due to some security issues admited by google themselves. so after brave I would say firefox (it is what I use) with some addons that i can configure to my liking and customize for my day to day use as developer. (firefox+uBO+nano defender+Privacy Badger+MM3 proxy switch.

There is a huge difference between resistance to hacking and privacy and security settings. Firefox has been so poorly coded for years that hackers don't even bother with it in hacking contents because there are so many holes that it isn't a challenge.&nbsp;

Most Secure Browser

Web Components are a set of standards currently being produced by Google engineers as a W3C specification that allow for the creation of reusable widgets or components in web documents and web applications. The intention behind them is to bring component-based software engineering to the World Wide Web. The components model allows for encapsulation and interoperability of individual HTML elements. Support for Web Components is present in Chrome and Opera and is in Firefox (with a manual configuration change). Microsoft's Internet Explorer has not implemented any Web Components specifications yet. Web Components consist of 4 main elements: Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML Imports and HTML Templates.

OS security refers to specified steps or measures used to protect the OS from threats, viruses, worms, malware or remote hacker intrusions. OS security encompasses all preventive-control techniques, which safeguard any computer assets capable of being stolen, edited or deleted if OS security is compromised, including authentication, passwords and threats to systems and programs.

The main goal of security is protecting assets, and an asset is anything of value and worthy of protection.  Information Security is a discipline of protecting information assets from threats through safeguards to achieve the objectives of confidentiality, integrity, and availability or CIA for short. On the other hand, disclosure, alteration, and disruption (DAD) compromise the security objectives.
