Facebook video can't be embedded.

I'm working with a church to embed their Sunday services (Facebook Live) on their webpage. The live stream is embedded on their home page and all works well during the live stream.
When the stream ends the video is embedded on a page of "recent live videos".
For weeks, all went well. 3 weeks ago, the recent videos started showing "Unavailable. This video can't be embedded." It gives a link to the video on Facebook so you can click through and view it, but that is not the elegant solution we were going for.
There is no such thing as support from Facebook, so does anyone know why this would be happening?

When setting up the stream there is a checkbox for "Allow embedding" and it is checked. The post is Public. Again, it embeds perfectly while live but not for replay.

any platform can change things at a whim. Create a youtube channel and a vimeo channel and a twitch channel and use something like restream.io to publish to all 4 locations at once.  I'd use the youtube embed myself.

I'll experiment with that, but it shouldn't be necessary. This is just an H264 video at 720p/30 3kbs. All of that is within the specs Facebook suggests. Videos from previous weeks embed OK and I can't see what changed. Since other videos will embed but these will not there is obviously something different. Unfortunately, Facebook gives minimal documentation saying only that you can embed if you check the box to allow embedding and make the post public.
Someone out there must know what else would make a video unable to be embedded.

Just a follow up on this: restream.io is $49/mo. for a plan that allows you to remove their branding from the video. This problem should not require a $49/mo. solution. I also ran a test stream and determined that if you disconnect and reconnect the stream, restream.io starts a new Facebook Live stream resulting in multiple videos. Streaming directly to Facebook allows this to be disabled.
Still hoping for that ex-Facebook employee who knows how Facebook determines what can and can't be embedded.
The solution suggested allows you to stream to various providers and then chose which embedded version to have on your website.  Facebook is Facebook and they change things all of the time.. you could reach out to their support perhaps a recent change broke things.
